Attorney Caitlin Murphy is a member in good standing of the Connecticut Bar. Caitlin joined the firm as a Law Clerk in January 2019 and has assisted in all areas of the firm’s legal practice, appearing before Connecticut’s state courts, as well as appearing in several DCF Administrative Appeals in the State of Connecticut.
In 2017, Caitlin received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Quinnipiac University, summa cum laude. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, in 2020 from the Quinnipiac University School of Law with Honors concentrations in Civil Advocacy and Dispute Resolution and Criminal Law and Advocacy.
Upon graduation Caitlin received a number of academic awards, including the Oberst Mock Trial Award, the award for Outstanding Performance in Oral Advocacy, and the Academic Excellence Award. She is published in the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal, It’s Time to Extend Maryland v. Craig: Remote Testimony by Adult Sex Crime Victims, 19 Conn. Pub. Int. L.J. 367 (2020).
While at Quinnipiac Law, Caitlin served as a note editor for Quinnipiac Law Review and president of the Mock Trial Society. Caitlin was part of the Northeast Regional championship team at the 2019 National Mock Trial Competition and she placed 7th out of 170 advocates in the first National Online Trial Advocacy Competition in the Spring of 2020.
