Prior to joining the firm as a paralegal, Simone De Cicco worked as a legal assistant for a boutique Westchester County, New York litigation firm. There, she assisted the firm’s litigators in filing pleadings, fact and cite-checking, and client correspondence and management.
Soon after her arrival at Mark Sherman Law in 2012, Simone was accepted into the University of Connecticut’s Paralegal Certification Program, and quickly earned her certification within 6 months’ time. Her Paralegal Certification, coupled with her years of paralegal litigation experience, has allowed her to serve as one of Mark Sherman Law’s lead paralegals to the Firm’s criminal and civil litigation attorneys. Her knowledge of the New York State Court system has complemented Mark Sherman Law’s versatility in the Connecticut, Westchester County and Manhattan state and federal court systems. Simone is responsible for coordinating all of the Firm’s pleadings, court appearances, and docket deadlines. Her versatility, detail-intensive work ethic, and broad knowledge of the various courts in which the Firm appears, have contributed to the Firm’s success in our criminal and civil cases.
